By registering or using Kuantar (kuantar.online, the Kuantar app and Kuantar Driver) you agree to these terms. The service is operated by PT Indo Smart Media.
1. Accounts
- Your details must be accurate and your own. Phone numbers are verified by OTP.
- Keep your password and OTP secret. We never ask for them.
- We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, commit fraud or endanger others.
2. Our role
Kuantar is a technology platform connecting customers with independent driver- and merchant-partners, who are not employees of PT Indo Smart Media.
3. Orders & fares
- Fares are calculated from route distance and current tariffs and shown before you order; night/peak surcharges are shown when they apply.
- Food/Mart prices are set by merchants.
- Promotions follow their own terms and may end at any time.
4. Payments
- Cash to the driver, KuantarPay wallet, or online payment via our licensed payment partner (virtual account, e-wallet, QRIS, cards, retail outlets).
- The wallet is not a deposit or savings account and bears no interest.
5. Cancellations
- Cancelling before a driver is found is free. Cancelling after the grace period once a driver has accepted may incur the service's cancellation fee.
- Food/Mart orders cannot be cancelled after pick-up.
6. Parcels
Illegal, dangerous or flammable goods, narcotics, weapons, live animals, cash and other prohibited items may not be sent. Senders are responsible for contents. Compensation for loss/damage on Send is limited to the declared value and at most IDR 1,000,000 unless agreed otherwise. Intercity shipping follows the chosen courier's terms.
7. Bills & top-ups
Check the destination number/customer ID. Successful transactions to a number entered incorrectly cannot be reversed. Failed transactions are refunded to your wallet automatically.
8. Driver-partners
- Must hold a valid ID, driving licence, vehicle registration and a roadworthy vehicle, and pass verification.
- Must obey traffic laws, be courteous and not charge outside the app.
- Platform commission is deducted per current tariffs; earnings can be withdrawn to a bank account.
9. Merchant-partners
Merchants are responsible for product quality, halal claims, food safety, availability and correct pricing.
10. AI assistant
KuantarVA is an AI assistant providing information and guidance. AI answers may be wrong; rely on official information in the app or contact support for important decisions. KuantarVA never transacts on your behalf.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, PT Indo Smart Media is not liable for indirect losses; our liability is limited to the value of the related transaction.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
